AlorAir Zeus 900 Air Mover

Drying a home isn't only about pulling moisture out of the air — you also have to keep air moving across every wet surface. The AlorAir Zeus 900 is the high-velocity air mover we position around your home to do exactly that.

It sweeps a focused stream of air across carpet, walls, baseboards and subfloor, speeding up evaporation so moisture lifts into the air where our dehumidifier can capture it. Together they create the drying “vortex” that dries your home quickly during water extraction and drying — part of our water damage restoration in Charlottesville.

How it works
1

Draws in room air

A high-efficiency motor pulls air into the low-profile housing at up to 950 CFM.

2

Focuses the airstream

The patent-pending housing concentrates that air into a fast, focused stream aimed across the wet surface.

3

Speeds up evaporation

Moving air sweeps the still, damp layer off wet carpet, walls and floors, so water evaporates far faster than it would in still air.

4

Feeds the dehumidifier

The moisture it lifts into the air is then captured by the dehumidifier — the two run as one system.

Why we run it in your home

This unit keeps the air moving so wet surfaces dry fast and evenly.

What it does for your restoration

  • Dries faster — moving air pulls trapped moisture out of surfaces far quicker than still air can
  • Reaches tight spots — five positions let it dry walls, stairs, cabinets and crawl spaces, not just open floor
  • Helps prevent mold — surfaces that dry quickly don't stay wet long enough for mold to take hold
  • Low-amp and safe — it draws just 1.8 amps and has built-in GFCI and circuit-breaker protection
Important

Please leave it running — and let us move it

Each air mover is aimed at a specific wet area and angle. Moving one, turning it, or switching it off changes the airflow pattern we set up — and can leave moisture behind where you can't see it.

  • ×Don't unplug it or switch it off. Even a few hours off lets damp surfaces slow their drying and gives mold a chance to start.
  • ×Don't re-aim or slide it. The angle and spot are chosen to dry a specific surface; nudging it can leave a wet pocket behind.
  • ×Don't unplug it to use the outlet. Its on-board GFCI outlet may be powering other drying equipment in the chain.
  • ×If it's loud, in the way, or you're unsure — call us. Only North Star technicians should reposition or power down the equipment.
