When your home floods or a pipe bursts, the water you can see is only part of the problem — moisture soaks into drywall, framing, subfloor and the air itself. The AlorAir Storm SLGR 1250X is the commercial dehumidifier we set up to pull that hidden moisture back out.

It uses super-low-grain refrigerant (SLGR) technology to dry the air far below what a household dehumidifier can reach, so your home dries all the way through during structural drying and dehumidification — not just on the surface. It's a core part of our water damage restoration in Charlottesville.

How it works

Pulls in the humid air

A powerful fan draws moist air out of the room and across the unit at about 300 CFM.

Cools it past the dew point

SLGR refrigerant technology chills the air until water condenses out — even when the humidity is already low and a normal dehumidifier would stall.

Collects & pumps the water away

The condensed water drains continuously through a built-in pump and hose, so there's no tank to empty.

Returns dry air to the room

Warm, dry air is pushed back out, lowering humidity so walls, floors and framing keep releasing the moisture trapped inside them.

×Don't unplug it or switch it off. Turning it off — even overnight — lets humidity climb back into the structure and can undo a full day of drying.
×Don't move it to another room. Its spot is chosen to balance airflow and drainage across the affected area.
